~ Purpose Of Blogging : The Evolution ~

Me!  I'm a wife to my precious husband, Khairul Adha and a mother to my sweet little gorgeous princess, Khayra Amirah. I Love to breastfeed my baby.. :) I love my Family so much... :D

I believe every blogger have their own purpose why they want to or like to blog. Some people choose to blog because they love to write. Some people choose to blog because they want to share what they knew about something they love. Some people choose to blog because they just want to write something about their life. It is like an online diary for them so they can refer back what they have done in their life. They will write about what they do, what they eat and everything they can share with others. Some people love to write about their baby. How their baby’s developments, achievements for a certain level and so on so that this journal can be viewed when their children get older.

Whatever the reason you started to blog, I think in natural way your purpose for blogging will evolve with time. As for me, I started blogging during the 8 months of my pregnancy. At that point of time, I just wanted to write/blog something only for my own leisure. I just wanted to write about my story, my experiences and about my life to be exact. I started with blogspot.com and use little-khalifah-and-us.blogspot.com. From my url, I think everyone can say I will write about me, my husband and my children. Yes, that’s my first purpose of blogging.

Then, the purpose evolved when I started to blog for friends. Yes, from blogging I started to know a lot of people. When somebody visits my blog or when I visit others’ blogs, we will start to know each other. Then we become friends. We started to chat, leave comments, say hi, say how cute your daughter/sons ( well its true, baby or children is really cute in different ways. Believe me.. ) start to share our story, start to know that our blog friends is just around the corner of our house. Then I become addicted to blog. Everyday I must open my friends’ blogs to know what they do and what they share and everything. See.. how blogging can make me meet a lot of friends?

From blogging also, I can get lots of information from friends. They have different knowledge they like to share based on their experiences. I like to share whatever I know from my reading and also from my experiences. Sharing is caring right? So, the purpose evolved to posting something not only about what I do but I add some valuable information for reference to others and me. What I do to my little Khayra when I choose to breastfeed, I share it in my blog. What obstacles or advice from family, from friends, from others I share it. The more we share, the more knowledge we had.

After some time, I started to blog for money (aren’t we all?). Hahahaha With blogging, actually we can get money from many ways. Affiliate, advertising, traffics, business and a lots more. The easiest one is from advertising you put on your blog. It calculates from your traffic. From there, I started to know Nuffnang, google adsense, innity ( I just write a few here) from friends too. See, how powerful is the connection of friends. Hehehhehehe Nowadays, a lot of blogs start to write something very interesting post, start to upgrade themselves to write something useful even tho sometimes I know, I just write some crap things. Hahahhahaha See the power of evolving? I didn’t mean when we evolve to upgrade ourselves, we forget our main purpose of blogging. Maybe blogging for money is not apply to everybody but I believe everyone love money right? Even I want to gain some income from blogging, but its not my main purpose. Like Malays proverb “ Sambil Menyelam Minum Air” I think tak salah kan?
